Sneak Peek: Belinda's 'Lolita' Video To Premiere August 23 On Tr3s!

TV star; award-winning songwriter; Latin Grammy nominee; it’s pretty amazing to see what Belinda's accomplished in her 21 years. But it’s even more exciting to catch up on all of the exciting projects that she’s planning next!

What does our pop diva have in the works? How about a hot music video for her single “Lolita”? That's right, Belinda's getting back to her novela roots with this theme song for the new MTV Latin America soap, "Niñas Mal."

The poppy, upbeat track encapsulates the mischievous spirit of the show, with the video featuring the three main stars causing all kinds of havoc in a convenience store.

“Lolita” was shot last July in Colombia, and after watching it, you can definitely understand why they wanted to call this series, “Niñas Mal.” Set to debut in September, the feisty novela follows three rebellious socialites as they try to adjust to private school living.

Unfortunately Belinda won’t be a cast member this time out (we loved her in “¡Amigos X Siempre!” and "Mujeres Asesinas"), but with a red hot recording career and a top album ("Carpe Diem") around the world, how could we expect her to?

Perhaps we could sneak in Belinda for at least a cameo as the school singing coach? Just a thought… And don't worry, novela lovers. You can watch "Niñas Mal" on Tr3s too in early 2011!
