Are you familiar with the Kidz Bop albums? Chances are if you have a younger sibling, niece/nephew, or little one at home, you have a few of these in your collection. The series, which takes popular songs and re-records them with pre-teen vocalists, are storming up the Billboard charts!
Believe it or not, Kidz Bop 18 was #6 in the Top 200 last week and if you checked the tracklist, you would have caught a reworking from a "Dynamite" Latino. Yup, Taio Cruz’s smash single “Break Your Heart” is getting the grade school treatment, complete with synthesizers and auto tune.

You can actually sample the tracks on the Kidz Bop site and, to be honest, they sound pretty good! There’s some great production value here and quite a few talented prepubescent voices in the mix.
Of course children’s albums aren’t quite our taste, but if you have young ones at home and want to keep them dancing, these sure beat those Sesame Street singalongs! They’ve even got Katy Perry's “California Gurls” summer track (though no word whether there’s a baby Snoop on board).
