Vanessa Hudgens Goes Retro For ‘Sucker Punch’

Seven long months! That’s how long we’re going to have to wait until we can see Vanessa Hudgens, Abbie Cornish, Jena Malone, and Emily Browning in Zack Snyder’s “Sucker Punch.” Though March 25, 2011 seems like a world away, we’ve got some awesome teaser posters to get extra excited about.

In case you weren’t aware of the career of genius-director Zack Snyder, he’s got an awesome big screen batting average right now. His last two movies alone took home over $600 million in gross revenue!

Who can forget, “Spartans!!!!,” the battle cry from his epic warrior pic, “300”. Or his dark comic adaptation of the classic graphic novel, "Watchmen." Well, don’t worry Zack fans, he’s going for high-concept all over again for this flick.

The most interesting thing about "Sucker Punch" is that it’s from Zack’s original ideas. Set in the 1950s, it revolves around young women trapped in an insane asylum and the fantasies they create to escape their hardships.

The way Vanessa looks in this poster, you’d guess she was some sort of hardcore air fighter pilot. The tight black outfit, the aviator goggles, and what’s that heat she’s packing in her right hand? We can’t wait to see the fantasies Zack comes up with for her. A heartfelt passion project with comic book influences…We like it! Well, of course the sexy costumes help too.

“Sucker Punch” hits theaters March 25, 2011.
