Javier Bardem refuses to talk about his relationship with new bride Penelope Cruz, but the sexy Spaniard has no problem discussing his love for another Hollywood heartthrob: Brad Pitt!

In an interview with Elle.com about Bardem's upcoming film Eat, Pray, Love, the Oscar winner gushed about Pitt's persuasive inner and outer beauty:
“I had the great opportunity to meet Brad a couple of times…what a beauty! He is beautiful and his physicality is so amazing to see. But the beauty really comes from different places—the way he talks, the way he’s interested in what you’re saying. And that body is like—wow! It’s amazing, no?
He really made me feel very, like…I don’t know, like, I could fall in love with him! Like a teenager girl getting crazy and going [screams] like that. I met him only twice, but so nice, so…generous and very true to himself, and I don’t know him that well, but I would say it’s a good self. And that is when the beauty comes voom! And if you have a body besides that, then it’s like, f*&$!”
Imagine what he says about Pene!
You can catch Javier's affair with another A-lister on August 13, when Eat, Pray, Love hits theaters! Bardem stars opposite Julia Roberts.

So let us get this straight: Beautiful, confident, and talented Demi Lovato actually used to get bullied when she was in school?! The answer is YES, and because of all those things, she’s turning out to be a great spokesperson against getting picked on.
The truth of the matter of is, anyone can be a victim of bullying. And having someone with Demi’s high profile speak out about it is a great way to spread awareness about the impact it’s having on America’s kids. She recently teamed with the PACER Center to spread the word about Teens Against Bullying.
Demi told the New York Post, “Bullying is a very serious thing to me, I’ve witnessed it first hand — I was bullied myself when I was 12. I want to be able to help other girls around [my sister’s] age come into their own with a strong confidence in their skin, their size, who they are and everything about themselves.”
In case you weren’t aware, there have been some very high-profile bullying cases making the news right now. One in particular, led 15-year-old Phoebe Price to commit suicide. Are the bullies responsible? We’ll leave that to the judges, but the point is, it’s happening and it’s affecting millions of kids.
That’s why we’re totally backing the PACER campaign that Demi’s involved with. Its purpose is to teach teens how to identify, respond, and take action when confronted with bullying. They’ve even gone so far as to declare October National Bullying Prevention Month.
Way to go guys, it’s time to take a stand and keep that lunch money for ourselves!

No stranger to politically fueled musica, Calle 13's latest single "Calma Pueblo" is already causing quite a stir. The track, available as a free download straight from el duo's website, has reportedly already been censored by their label, Sony, and calls the Vatican the home of the “biggest mafia.”
Residente raps:
“Yo estoy aquí para contarte lo que no cuantan los periódicos/ es el momento de la música independiente/ las personas que me siguen escuchan el mensaje/ por eso me defienden a los puños sin vendaje.”

Loosely translated:
"I’m hear to tell you what the newspapers don’t say. It’s the moment for independent music. Those that follow me hear my message. That’s why they defend me with their unwrapped fists."
The Boricuas aren't the only culprits on this hardcore track. The alternative rap stars teamed up with Argentina's own Omar Rodriguez-Lopez of Mars Volta.
If this is a prelude to the October release of Detonacion C 13, we can't wait!

Doesn’t it seem like yesterday that sweet young David Archuleta was the “American Idol” runner-up everybody was rooting for? Yeah, David Cook took the prize that year, but we all knew Archulta’s career was just getting started.
In the two short years since then, he’s pwned the Teen Choice Awards (and is up for two more next month), scored an Alma Award, toured with Demi Lovato, and released a #2 debut album!

After David released his latest single, “Something ‘Bout Love,” this week, the buzz just kept on building: Live performances, public appearances, even his own Tweets are keeping the Archuleta hype machine going strong:
“I really appreciate the excitement and all the support from you fans!!! It means a lot! Thanks so much you guys!! :D”
So the real question is, does the new song hold up? We’ve got to say…Yes! “Something ‘Bout Love” feels more grown up than the tracks on his last CD. There’s an upbeat danceable groove, just the slightest touch of auto-tune, and a singalong chorus that will get any crowd on their feet. Not bad, David! Now if the rest of your new Other Side of Down album is this good, you’ve got a major hit on your hands.
David Archuleta’s The Other Side Of Down drops September 14. If you're a fan and want to support David, "Something ‘Bout Love" is available NOW on iTunes!

Former Arizona Republican office holder turned Neo-Nazi militia leader J.T. Ready is hunting Mexicans. Unlike most minutemen groups whose primary purpose is to "aid" and report the crossing of illegal immigrants peacefully, Ready and his group of goons are declaring war on "narco-terrorists" and packing heat, thanks to Arizona's loose gun laws.
The Associated Press shared this quote:
"We're not going to sit around and wait for the government anymore," Ready said. "This is what our founding fathers did."

The heavily armed Jason "J.T." Ready admittedly identifies with the National Socialist Movement, an organization that believes only non-Jewish, white heterosexuals should be American citizens and that everyone who isn't white should leave the country "peacefully or by force."
So far, Ready and his group have found only a few border crossers who were given water and handed over to Arizona Border Patrol. However, what takes place when "illegals" are in Ready's custody? Are they subject to his vigilante justice?
Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu said there haven't been any reported incidents with J.T. and his pals as they patrol his jurisdiction, a popular smuggling corridor, yet. However Babeu is concerned an untrained group acting without the authority of the law could prove problematic.
Border Patrol spokesman Omar Candelaria told the AP the agency appreciates the extra eyes and ears but would prefer actual law enforcement be left to professionals.
So if these militia and minutemen groups are untrained and dangerous to immigrants and themselves, how do they continue to exist?
Patrols have been part of Arizona's larger immigration debate and are a direct reflection of the anger over illegal immigration. Such groups continue to operate, and law enforcement officials generally don't take issue with them as long as they don't take matters into their own hands.
Ready and his group patrol the desert about 50 miles south of Phoenix and wear military fatigues, body armor, gas masks, and carry rifles.
"These are explicit Nazis," said Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center's Intelligence Project. "These are people who wear swastikas on their sleeves."
But wasn't Arizona's new immigration legislation SB 1070 enough? According to Ready, Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer hasn't done enough to secure the border, nor has President Barack Obama.
"If they don't want my people out there, then there's an easy way to send us home: Secure the border," he said. "We'll put our guns back on the shelf, and that'll be the end of that."

Argentina gets the official head nod from NBA San Antonia Spurs star Manu Ginobilli, who supports the decision to legalize gay marriage.
Ginobili, easily considered the best player to come out of the Latin American country, spent the early part of his basketball career in Argentina and Italy. In 2002 he joined the Spurs and has since earned three NBA Championships and a slew of individual awards, including NBA Sixth Man of the Year in 2008.

The well respected NBA star shared this statement with the Mendoza based “El Sol” newspaper:
“I am all for marriage. I think we all have the same rights.”
Thumbs up to Ginobili for having the courage to openly support the bill. NBA players aren't usually the most publicly supportive people when it comes to homosexuality. Not to mention the fact that he runs the risk of pissing off fans in San Antonio, aka “The City of St. Anthony” a storehouse of Catholic history.
Opponents of the bill have also strongly objected to the bill's inclusion of gay adoption. The shooting guard was mum on the issue of gays adopting children:
“Although in reality, with respect to adoption, I don't feel capable of giving an opinion.”

Eva Longoria Parker has been all about embracing her cultura Latina these days. From her heated disdain for the Arizona Immigration bill, to announcing last year that she'd be going to school to get in touch with her Chicano roots. But it's not very often we hear the 'Desperate Housewife' sounding off en Español.

La actriz was interviewed en Español at this past weekend's 'Playing for Hope' benefit gala, which she co-hosted with futbolista Rafael Márquez. En la entrevista, la actriz revealed how she ended up working with Rafa to host the event.
"Pos somos buenos amigos y el es una persona que tiene un gran corazon como yo, y quiere ayudar los niños..."
I'm sorry... did she say "pos"? Como buena Mexicana, La Longoria is starting to pick up on some hearty south-of-the-border slang! But that doesn't mean las palabras come easy! Watch as she stumbles through a few sentences in Spanish ("película." Say it with me, Eva, "pe-lí-cula") in the clip below.
Original Video- More videos at TinyPic
At least she looks fantastic, and is contributing to a worthy cause! The benefit was meant to raise funds for Rafa's Rafa Márquez Foundation, as well as Eva's Heroes, Eva's foundation to aid struggling children in San Antonio, TX. Y, bueno, por lo menos hizo el intento de hablar en su lengua, verdad?

Skateboarding and art definitely go hand-in-hand. Just look at the wild designs on the boards, the t-shirt graphics, and the shoe colors! And like the sport itself, the imagery that goes along with it is always inventive, original, and totally unique.
Need an example? Enter professional skater Paul Rodriguez Jr.. For those who aren’t familiar, yes P-Rod is the son of legendary Latino funnyman Paul Rodriguez Sr., but he’s carved out a very unique niche all his own via shoe designs, a killer X-games resume, and a new partnership with Mountain Dew!

Just this month, Paul and legendary artist Don Pendleton announced the Mountain Dew Green Label Art Contest. 35 skate shops from across the country threw out some incredible soda can designs (complete with monkeys, white tigers, space aliens, and more) and now the public gets to pick which one will actually make it to vending machines.
“It’s great to be a part of this program and give a voice to skate shops in the U.S. since these shops are the lifeblood of our sport,” P-Rod said. “Mountain Dew has a long-standing relationship with skate communities and recognizes the influence they have in shaping cultural trends inside and outside of skate parks.”
We are totally on board with the idea. In fact, why not continue to crank out cool designs on all the beverages we drink? Don’t you think those red and white Coke cans and Vitamin Water logos are getting a little boring at this point?
