Imagine getting cheers and screams from over 40,000 fans in two days! This past weekend, Daddy Yankee literally crossed two coasts for a set of wild performances that El Cangri is a musical force to be reckoned with.
First stop: LA’s huge Staples Center. Not many music artists can fill this venue. If you want to play Staples, you better have a massive following. On Friday (July 23) Daddy Yankee proved his power by maxing out capacity and getting over 20,000 fans roaring for hits like “Gasolina” “Muchocando” and his newest #1, “Descontrol.”

Oh no, Daddy Yankee didn’t stop there. Literally the next day he was back on stage on the other side of the continent for Puerto Rico’s Guaya Guaya Fest. Now if Daddy can get 20,000 LA peeps excited, imagine what he can do on his home turf!
Yup, 24 hours after 20,000 west coast fans screamed his name, 22,000 Puerto Ricans were doing the same thing. And Guaya Guaya attendees got an even better treat. A surprise duet of “Gata Gangster” with Reggaeton king Don Omar!
You never quite know what you’ll get with a Daddy Yankee live show. A surprise guest star? Thundering bass beats? Or maybe an opportunity to make 19,999 new friends. Keep ‘em coming Big Boss!
