Hot Stuff: Scott Pilgrim Vs. The Red Carpet

The hottest young stars in Hollywood hit LA’s Chinese Theatre on Tuesday (July 27) to celebrate the release of a flick we are REALLY excited about: “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World”! This epic movie mixes action, comedy, and comic book sensibilities for a Wham! Bam! Pow! adventure that has the potential to be a major summer hit!

Star Michael Cera threw away Scott’s slacker t-shirt and blue jeans for a fancy grey suit that the photographers couldn’t get enough of. Mary Elizabeth Winstead (who plays lady lead Ramona Flowers) also shone brightly with a shimmering red dress.

Most of the seven evil exes Scott does battle with were there too, including Jason Schwartzman, Satya Bhabha, and Brandon Routh. Of course, our favorite actress (and the lead Latina in the movie), Aubrey Plaza was also in attendance and looking super sexy in a short black dress.

Guests at the event couldn’t stop raving about Aubrey’s talent. Writer Michael Bacall called her “amazing” in the film and “Last Comic Standing” judge Natasha Leggero thought that Aubrey had “great comedic timing.” Well anyone who watches “Parks & Recreation” knows that!

We can’t wait to see her shine on the big screen, when “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” hits theatres August 13th!
