Peep: Eva Mendes Talks Sex Appeal For 'Allure' Cover

Even a blind man can see that Eva Mendes is super sexy. But according to the 36-year-old actress, that's not enough. In Allure magazine's August 2010 issue, Mendes shared that while it comes natural to her, being smoking hot isn't all she wants to be known for:

“I don't want “sexy” to be my defining characteristic, I'm definitely responsible for the image I put out there...but...I'd love for my ambition and will and intellect and sense of humor to define me as well.”

Sorry, Eva. With a slew of Calvin Klein ads and steamy movie roles (how can we forget her full frontal scene in “Training Day”??) under your belt, its hard NOT to think of you as a sex symbol!

Although that sultry label is one that this talented actress seems reluctant to accept, the results of the Allure photoshoot prove otherwise. Mendes looks absolutely amazing in the Dolce & Gabbana wardrobe that consisted of animal prints, bustier, high-waisted skirt, and more body hugging clothing!

Mendes also added that a part of her appeal may be attributed to her working hard to become comfortable in her skin:

"I have worked very hard to love myself, and I do. I think that's what people may respond to with me. Cause there are a ton of beautiful girls in this business with beautiful bodies."

We're all for Eva advocating self-confidence!
