Javier & Penelope: Wedding Bells... And A Baby?

Guys and Gals around the world shed bitter tears this week, as two more sexy stars are officially off the market. We have the union of Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz to thank for the latest let down (just kidding), when they took the plunge earlier this month.

According to Cruz's representative Amanda Silverman, the small intimate family-only ceremony occurred at a friends house in the Bahamas. But what's this: Life & Style is reporting that the couple wanted to make it official before their bundle of joy arrives next year. Could a baby be on the way???

Bun in the oven or not, the Spanish pair now joins the ranks of a select few Oscar-winning married couples. We're bummed that we weren't able to see Cruz in her wedding gown designed by longtime friend/fashion designer John Galliano or Bardem decked out in his hottie finery.

The newlyweds (this is a first marriage for both) began dating in 2007 and have successfully kept their romance under wraps.

They first appeared together in one of Cruz's first films, “Jamon, jamon,” in 1992 and more recently in Woody Allen's 2008 romantic comedy “Vicky Christina Barcelona” (we're digging the friends first approach). Penelope won a supporting-actress Oscar for that role and her new hubby won a supporting-actor Oscar for the 2007 cult classic “No Country for Old Men.”

Congrats to the lovely couple, and might we suggest that Blogamole is a unique and creative name for a bebe?
