Listen up, newbie artists! Nortec Collective's Bostich and Fussible are dropping science about the music industry. Before rocking their LAMC Concert last week (July 7), the duo blessed us with their time and presence.

Informed by over a decade of experience, Bostich provided insight on the darker side of the music business.
“Be careful of companies... We do music because we love it but sometimes when you are in this world, it's like, sometimes you encounter like really, really bad people... On the path you will find really nice people, but also really bad.”
He also explained the direction that music labels are taking and what artists should stay focused on:
“The music industry is kinda changing a lot. I mean some of the labels are collapsing... New labels with new ideas are becoming helpful for a lot of [people] so what I recommend is - for first of all - just keep doing music and the music you like.”
You heard it from them, folks: Be wary of people with ulterior motives and stay true to yourself good advice for navigating the music biz AND an excellent life lesson!
