As we've reported before, Zack de la Rocha's Sound Strike campaign against Arizona's SB 1070 law is picking up tons of steam. Artists like Pitbull, Nine Inch Nails, and Cypress Hill have all joined the boycott, and now another famous band may be joining the mix... his own!
In a recent interview with Billboard.com, Zack mentioned a series of protest concerts he was organizing that may feature his old band, Rage Against the Machine!

"In the coming weeks we are going to be organizing a series of concerts that are respectful of the nature of the boycott in its attempts to isolate the Arizona government but not isolate the people, and especially the organizations that are fighting this on the ground." He made point to say that "there's a strong chance Rage Against the Machine will play one or more of the concerts."
Since breaking up in 2000, Rage has yet to release a new album. They did kick off a U.S. reunion tour in 2007, but the last time they headlined stateside was back in 2008. So seeing the original gang of Zack, Tom Morello, Brad Wilk, and Tim Commerford would be a huge treat for fans!
Not only that, it would bring even more attention and media coverage to this controversial cause. With the amount of A-list support that Zack's assembled for the Sound Strike boycott, we can't even IMAGINE how incredible it would be for them to play together for a concert series.
