Peep: America Ferrera's Engagement Ring Bling!

It's official! Our sweet little "Ugly Betty" is on her way to being a married woman! America Ferrera may not be a real-life version of the awkward but lovable character she played on ABC for four seasons, but one thing that they do have in common is how much the public continues to root for them!

People magazine reported on Thursday (June 17) that America is now engaged to longtime beau, Ryan Piers Williams! The web has been buzzing with congrats messages and happy chisme (just type her name into Twitter and see what we mean).

Ferrera was first spotted wearing her new rock at this week’s Edinburgh Film Festival where her new movie, "The Illusionist," premiered. And with rumors circulating that the ring cost upwards of $70k, we’re pretty certain that Ryan took this proposal VERY seriously.

The 26-year-old actress met her boyfriend while they were students together at the University of Southern California. Ferrera was cast in a student movie directed by Williams.

Congrats to the happy couple! We know that "Ugly Betty" will be the last thing anyone thinks about when they see her in that wedding dress!
