The 2010 MTV Movie Awards are over, but the jury's still out on who gave the Best Performance by a Latino this year! Place your vote in our poll on MTVTr3s.com and keep it locked to Tr3s: We'll present a special award to the winner when we re-air the special (with Spanish subtitles) on July 17!
Whether she's saving lives on the big screen or scoring points on the soccer field, Michelle Rodriguez kicks serious butt!
The 31-year-old Dominican/Puerto Rican beauty has proven that actresses don't have to limit themselves to "damsel in distress" roles; her range has led to beating up boys in "Girl Fight," high speed action in "The Fast and the Furious," taking out zombies in "Resident Evil," exploring new worlds in "Avatar," and embodying a historic freedom fighter in "Trópico de Sangre."

We can't wait to see Michelle take charge in Robert Rodriguez's "Machete" this summer, but first we had to give her major props for her role as "Trudy Chacon" in the 2009 blockbuster, "Avatar."
In the groundbreaking film, Rodriguez's character "Trudy" is a SecOps pilot who flies science teams
to Pandora. She eventually sides with rogue soldier Jake Sully to protect the Na'vi', giving her life to the cause and taking out a swath of their enemies in a blaze of glory!
Here's where you come in, movie fans! MTV Tr3s is airing the 2010 MTV Movie Awards on July 17.
We're having our own awards ceremony for the Best Performance by a Latino this year!
Here are the four stellar candidates:
Michelle Rodriguez (Avatar)
Zoe Saldana (Avatar)
John Leguizamo (Ice Age)
Ramon Rodriguez (Transformers 2)
Our Tr3s panel of Movie Aficionados will select a winner and present a special award during the re-airing of the MTV Movie Awards on July 17! Help them reach a decision by voting for YOUR fave at MTVTr3s.com.
