Perez Hilton To The World: 'Miley Was Wearing Underwear'

Could the Perez Hilton and Miley Cyrus feud actually escalate into criminal charges? That’s what the web is buzzing about this week, after the notorious blogger tweeted a NSFW pic on Sunday (June 13) and then implied that Miley had been caught without wearing underwear. The chisme king has since taken the photo down and posted evidence that Miley didn't go commando, but public outcry continues.

Sure, those below-the-waist publicity bombs have been surfacing for years now (we haven’t forgotten you, Paris and Britney!), but never before have they featured an underage minor. Could the man behind Perez, Mario Lavandeira Jr., be in legal hot water?

Believe it or not, Hilton’s posting of the image could even have the potential of possible child pornography charges by the LAPD. Perez is arguing that the pic was photoshopped and downplaying the outrage:

"Do you think Miley is that stupid to be out in public without panties? Do you think I am stupid enough to post a photo of Miley if she is not wearing any underwear down there?"

According to NY Daily News, Hilton explained he was simply trying to poke fun at Miley for her lack of grace getting out of the car. "The reason I linked to that photo is because I thought she was exiting this car in a very un-ladylike fashion," he said. "People, snap out of it!"

Miley Cyrus does have a new album (ironically called Can’t Be Tamed) coming out next week, but we're ruling out a publicity scheme; it’s doubtful anyone would benefit from this disaster.

Taking the high road, Miley has responded to the drama without any theatrics. While on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show this week, she called Perez “An idiot being an idiot.”
