Fat Joe held a listening session for his forthcoming tenth studio album The Darkside Vol. 1 last night (June 14) in NYC, where lyrics to the track "Welcome to the Darkside" revealed the Terror Squad CEO is still feuding with rap rival 50 Cent.
Joe Cartagena calls out 50's government name, ending the song with "We gone throw the biggest party when Curtis die." Ouch!

The beef between the two NY rappers dates back to 2005, when 50 dissed Joey Crack on "Piggy Back" because of his affiliation with Ja Rule. Fat Joe responded with a track called “My 44.″ 50 cent then added Tony Yayo to the mix and released a song called “I Run NY” that dissed Joe.
Fat Joe has accused 50 cent of being a snitch and claimed that the police presence at the 2005 MTV VMA’s was because of 50's request. Later in the show, G-unit took the stage to preform. When they were done, they began shouting obscenities at Fat Joe and Terror Squad.
Last October, 50 talked about his rap feud with Joe to Complex:
"I knew Fat Joe’s pride would bring him out first, even if he wasn’t in the position to win. And he would go and go and go because he has the tough-guy aura. He’s tougher in his head than he is in reality, as far as his Don Cartagena sh*& is concerned. It feels great because everybody’s paying attention to them and talking on the radio about them. Mind you, while they’re going out and doing all of this talking, I’m just chilling. I’ll send them out like they’re a rap fan so they can market me.
So everywhere they go, nobody cares about your record or what you’re doing. The number one question is 'So what’s up with you and 50?' They’re not smart enough to come up with a new disrespectful way to talk to me because I’ve heard everything you could think of. Then I move away because I’m competing with another artist, and the spotlight moves with me because I’m actually creating the material and generating the interest. So when I move to do that, you’re in darkness…to the point where you drop your album sales to 8,000 copies."
Prior to 50's interview, Joe thanked the rapper for promoting his J.O.S.E. Part II in an interview with HOT 97 radio personality Angie Martinez:
"I've realized something really, that, [50 Cent is] my number one fan and really loves Fat Joe. I'm really tuned in to that, I really came to that realization that he's my number one fan because I'm a little upset at the label, I felt we could have did way more promotions, but if you didn't know Fat Joe's album was coming out today, I think he said, 'Yo, my man Joe needs this little bit of promotion man, like he's so much of a formidable opponent, that you know, I gotta keep this guy around, I gotta go promote his new album.'
Absolutely. Promotions. Nah, thank-you 50, man, major promotions, you really bigged me up. Nobody was thinking about me before that, thank-you, I love you. J.O.S.E. II in stores right now."
The Darkside Vol. 1 hits stores and digital outlets on July 27. According to E1 urban label director Marleny Dominguez, Fat Joe will spend June traveling the East Coast from Boston to Atlanta for a series of summer shows in tandem with a presale iTunes campaign. In the works is a national tour.
We can't to see how 50 responds to this round. Can you? Weigh in below, or @MTV3!
