Peep: Eva Mendes' Smokin' Cover For W Magazine

Who better than Eva Mendes to represent the sultry heat of summer? The Cuban-American actress channeled sun kissed Hollywood glamour in her AMAZING cover for the July issue of W Magazine.

In a candid interview with the mag, Mendes opened up about many topics, including her feelings about nudity, her ethnicity and her proclaimed self-awareness:

“I’m not an exhibitionist. But, honestly, for my art I’ll do anything almost. I’ll go there.” Risqué, right? I know I walk a fine line between being a respected actor and being what they call a sex symbol, but I’ve never felt objectified. Nothing you see me do is an accident, I might act like it’s an accident but the opposite is true. I’m incredibly calculated when it comes to my career."

You can see more of Eva Mendes in her latest film, "The Other Guys," hitting theaters August 6. In her first comic role, she plays a "Knicks dancer-turned-doctor married to a dunderhead of a forensics cop (Ferrell) who doesn't realize what a babe his wife is," W magazine writes in their cover story.
