As you may have already heard, MTV Tr3s is undergoing a serious makeover. Beginning July 12, the channel will roll out some excellent new shows and other surprises. To help us celebrate our new look, Mexican pop sensations Camila are starring in their own special, "Camila Unplugged," which you can watch online — right here — on July 12! The full "Unplugged" special will then air on our channel in August.

"Camila Unplugged," which took place on June 23, engaged fans with an intimate performance, accentuated by a string ensemble that embellished the trio’s beautiful composition.

The evening’s repertoire included an eight song set featuring “Alejate de Mi”, “Mientes”, “Besame”, “Todo Cambio”, “Coleccionista de Canciones”, “Abrazame”, “Solo Para Ti”, and cover song “Equivocado” by Thalia.

“Camila did what they do best – engage the audience with their beautiful music and deliver a passionate performance.” said José Tillán, GM and EVP of MTV Tr3s. “The Unplugged franchise is the perfect vehicle to expose an artist like Camila to the bilingual/bicultural audience. Our audience is looking for success stories that illustrate accomplishment and offer inspiration, and Camila is a clear example of that.” He added.

Camila kicks off their US Tour July 9th in San Antonio, TX. The pop trio recently completed their second album, Dejarte de Amar. Recorded mostly in Mexico by Mario Domm, it features the support of the orchestra that works with Steven Angeles for Peter Mokran (Lady Ga Ga, Christina Aguilera, Michael Jackson) and Bernie Grundman (U2, Frank Sinatra, Snoop Dogg).

The album’s first single “Mientes” demonstrates the trio’s growth after four years on the stage and continues to keep the trio on top since its debut this year.

Before you start with the LOLs, know one thing: this is not for vanity (are you listening Ron Artest?) or a practical joke — this is very real and it is for UNICEF. Yes, Spanish Laker Pau Gasol is stepping up to the mic for a very good cause.

Cameras caught up with one of the NBA’s newest champs as he belted out a chorus for the new song “Get It Together.” It’s a little known fact, but in between all those free throws and clutch shots, Pau is a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF.

For over six years, Pau’s work has taken him all the way to Africa to aid in building schools and spreading the word about nutrition and better health.

But let’s get back to the track, shall we? Once you know the message and listen to it a few more times, it does actually seem to grow on you.

After a series of blown calls in the 2010 FIFA World Cup, FIFA may be feeling the pressure to introduce instant replay. Its one thing to blow a call during preliminary rounds, as was done to the U.S. against Slovenia earlier in the tournament, but its a lot more significant when done in the knock-out Round of 16!

At least FIFA president Sepp Blatter is acknowledging it this time. According to NBC Sports, he recently apologized to England and Mexico for the latest blunders. “Naturally we deplore when you see the evidence of refereeing mistakes,” Blatter said in an apology to England and Mexico team officials at Sunday's matches. "The English said 'thank you.' The Mexicans, they just go with the head," Blatter said, indicating that they nodded. "I understand that they are not happy. It was not a five-star game for refereeing."

Blatter was referring to England's match against Germany, where England was denied a goal by midfielder Frank Lampard that clearly crossed the line by a foot and would have tied the score 2-2 at the half.

England went on to lose the match 4-1 but the goal that was called off could have significantly altered the momentum and changed the match. England is now eliminated from the tournament as Germany moves on to face Argentina in the next round (July 3).

Speaking of Argentina, they were also the benefactors of a blown call by referees. In their match against Mexico – which they won 3-1 – Argentinian player Carlos Tevez was offside when he headed in a pass from Lionel Messi to take the lead. Referee Roberto Rosetti awarded the goal after consulting with his linesman. The loss eliminates Mexico from the tournament.

OK Forbes, what gives? George Lopez is killing it on TBS with his talk show, Demi Lovato's got 2 million Twitter followers, and we STILL can't crack the Top 40 of your The Celebrity 100 list?

Every year, Forbes Magazine cranks out a list of the world's most powerful celebrities. Based on earnings, internet relevance, media coverage, and more numerical mumbo jumbo, it ranks relevant famous peeps based on a scale of 1-100. Just as expected, Oprah is #1 (for like the zillionth year in a row), followed by names like James Cameron, Beyonce, and newbie ranker Lady Gaga.

Here are the Latino celebs who were included in the list. They might not be in the Top 40, but in our hearts all of them are #1!

The first Latino ranked on the list is World Cup soccer stud Cristiano Ronaldo (at #48) who pulled in a cool $36 mil for his FIFA work. Closely behind him is A-Rod at #49, with just a hair less earning power for his Yankee slugging.

Then we drop another 10 down for Cameron Diaz at #60 (hmm.. her and A-Rod make quite the "power couple," eh?). Pulling up the rear (no pun intended) is Charlie Sheen, followed by Gisele Bundchen, and George Lopez (who barely made it at #94).

That still leaves tons of powerful Latino celebs unaccounted for. What about Salma Hayek Pinault, Selena Gomez, Shakira, etc.??? Hopefully next year we can bump those earnings up and distribute the "Power" a little more evenly.

Angel, of the reggaeton duo Angel y Khriz, was recently punked in Puerto Rico by a pregnant woman who carjacked him!

The poor reggaetonero met up with the unidentified woman to sell her his Mercedes Benz, but when she sat down for the test drive she decided to pull a gun on the "Na De Na" artist instead and take off in his car!

Fortunately no one was injured in the caper, and Angel went on to perform a local show that night.  Authorities are still trying to trace the whereabouts of the preggers thief.

Not to be outdone by the 'Twilight' franchise, "Harry Potter" fans received a special surprise when the trailer for the final film in the seven book series premiered online earlier this week.

The two and a half minute "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows" trailer gives an in-depth look at the two part finale, where Harry faces his final battle with Voldemort and all of his Horcruxes.

The first part of "Deathly Hallows" arrives in theaters this November, with the final installment in the "Harry Potter" series unfolding in July 2011.

Could the third time be the charm for Eva La Rue? After a somewhat bumpy start, the "CSI: Miami beauty" married hubby #3 this past weekend at an elegant seaside wedding in Zihuatenejo, Mexico.

Eva had previously said "I do" to "Seinfeld" regular John O’Hurley and her former All My Children costar John Callahan (who’s the father of her daughter, Kaya). Interestingly, the latest Mr. La Rue, businessman Joe Cappuccio, was originally set to marry Eva way back in June 2009.

So, why didn’t we hear about this wedding a year ago? They actually had called it off and only reconciled after eight months of being apart. But by the way the guests described Eva, it sounds like it was the worth the wait! Everything seemed to click perfectly… A sandy beach side ceremony, with a gorgeous bride decked out in a one-shouldered Oday Shakar gown.

“We could not have dreamed of a more perfect day,” said Eva. “Getting married in this beautiful location on the ocean with all of our family and friends is so special. We are so blessed.”

For all you wedding chisme lovers, exclusive pix of Eva and her stunning gown will be featured in next week’s issue of Life & Style.
