It may be sad to say goodbye to all your Oceanic Air flight 815 friends, but at least you can do it with other fans — worldwide! In an effort to prevent illegal downloads, The hit ABC series finale “Lost” will air simultaneously in different countries on Sunday 7|6c (May 23).
This was an ingenious idea that will bring the world together for a common cause: to finally get some answers! [Editor: That was a bit dramatic, but you're so right!]

At the same time as the U.S. West Coast airing, the two-and-a-half hour episode (without subtitles), will broadcast on Fox Italia and Telecom Italia in Italy, Cuatro Spain, Fox Spain and Portugal, Digiturk Turkey, HOT Israel and CTV Canada! Sky1 in the U.K. will also deliver a simulcast of the West Coast broadcast.
I have 3 words in response: Game, Set, Match.
In total, the series' last episode entitled “The End” will be be broadcast in 59 worldwide markets that will air the show within 24 to 48 hours after the U.S. airing, with subtitles for viewers in non-English-speaking territories.
For the tiny population of people that never had the opportunity to experience “Lost,” there will be a 2 hour retrospective episode entitled “The Final Journey” that will follow the “The End”.
At the end of its sixth and final season, "Lost" will have aired 114 episodes.
Can't wait until Sunday for the finale? Full episodes of "Lost" can be viewed on the ABC web site.
