On Tuesday (May 18), Jane performed her hot single "Tightrope" on the Late Show With David Letterman. She also celebrated the release of her album The ArchAndroid at the Highline Ballroom in NYC — this album is a must for your summer playlist!

Monáe is a protege of OutKast's Big Boi and is currently signed to Diddy's record label.

The Washington Post recently reviewed her album and offered an unusual take:
