Robinson Cano & Latinobaseball.com To Award Top Latino Students

Latinobaseball.com, an amazing site that focuses on the achievements of Latino baseball players (past and present), will award 40 outstanding Hispanic students during the 22nd Annual Hispanic Achievement Awards on May 30.

They ceremony will take place at Yankee Stadium. Dominicano Robinson Cano, who plays for the Yankees, will receive recognition for his commitment to the advancement of Latino youth. He'll receive the “Player Citizen of The Year” award before he suits up to play the Cleveland Indians.

The students who are being rewarded will be able to watch the game for the VIP suite and hang out with some of the players.

R.Paniagua, Inc. has honored top Latino students with the Hispanic achievement award for over two decades. Each year, the principals and superintendents of the New York City public school system select standout students who excelled in all areas of academic performance. Many Hispanic leaders have been involved since the beginning, such as Rosie Perez. The program has also received support from government officials such as Mayor Michael Bloomberg.
