This past Saturday (May 8), "SNL" scored big by not only having a Jay-Z mini-concert performance, but also featuring one of our favorite Golden Girls, Betty White as host. We have Facebook to thank for that — fans used the social networking platform to pressure NBC.
We’re on board for more fan-campaigned hosts, but what about some Latino lovin’?
From 1975 to 2010, there have only been eleven Latino hosts on "Saturday Night Live": Desi Arnaz (1976), Raquel Welch (1976), Emilio Estevez (1994), Freddie Prinze, Jr. (2000), Cameron Diaz (1998, 2002, 2005), Jennifer Lopez (2001, 2010), Salma Hayek (2002), Christina Aguilera (2004), Eva Longoria Parker (2005), Antonio Banderas (2006) and Rosario Dawson (2009).
Who should be the next Latino host for "SNL"? Don’t mind us as we get the ball rolling!
See our picks and give us your vote, after the jump!
Zoe Saldana
She’s everywhere and it's evident why: brains and beauty. What’s sexier than that? When a beauty with brains packs a comedic punch.
George Lopez
Why hasn’t he hosted yet? Through all this immigration controversy, we could use a little bit of Lopez.
Double trouble: Modern Family's Sofia Vergara and Rico Rodriguez
We already know Rico is adorably hilarious. Just the thought of the duo in front of the camera already has us in stitches! These two would undoubtedly rock "SNL"!
