Artist of the Week: Tito "El Bambino" To Win Big At Billboard Latin Awards?

Esta semana, we're singing the praises of Tito "El Bambino" in honor of the whopping 18 nominations el reggaetonero has raked up for this Thursday night's live Billboard Latin Awards.  The event, which will be broadcast from Puerto Rico, will also feature a performance by Tito, as well as by fellow Latin mega-stars Juan Luis Guerra, Camila, Thalía, Pitbull and David Bisbal.

El reggaetonero is nominated for his latest album, El Patrón, as well as his chart-topping single, "El Amor."  In addition, his newest single, "Te Pido Perdón" has been enjoying its stay among the Top 10 on the Billboard Latin charts. Tito is nominated for Latin Artist of the Year against Wisin Y Yandel, Luis Fonsi y Aventura. Among his other nods are Hot Latin Song of the Year (for "El Amor"), Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Male, and Latin Album of the Year. We gotta say, we're impressed, Tito! El reggaetonero managed to garner more nominations for the Billboard Latin Awards than such chart-topping heavy-hitters as Wisin Y Yandel (14 noms) and Aventura (12)!
