Que pasa cuando los chicos de Isa TKM van al bosque para una excursión?  Drama, drama, drama!

Rey nearly misses the trip after spending an extra-long session delante del espejo.

Cristina, in true high-maintenance fashion, barely makes the outing because she's weighed down con un montón de equipaje.  She packs so heavy for the school trip...that she needs a plane to carry her to the destination!

Linda is tormented by wasps, flies and worst of all...tarántulas venenosas.  Sin embargo, the sting of bothersome bugs goes unnoticed since Linda gets to spend time with her favorite pretty boy, Rey, during the school field trip.

Alex drifts away from Cristina...straight towards Isa.  Los dos get closer during their weekend sojourn mientras pasando tiempo juntos en las montañas...Will the two finally declare their love for one another or will their field trip leave them with regrets?

What else will happen en el bosque? Let's just hope the Isa cast doesn't come face-to-face con animales salvajes!

Still waiting (not-so) patiently for the release of 'New Moon' and couldn't get a ticket to last weekend's TwiCon? (For all you mortals in the dark, that would be this year's Dallas Twilight Convention, claro!)  No hay problema, MTV News got a chance to talk con algunos de los actores at the event, as well as some rabid Twilight fans who just can't get enough of the Edward-Bella-Jacob triángulo de amor!

Mega-guapos Peter Facinelli (Carlisle Cullen), Jackson Rathbone (Jasper) and Kellan Lutz (Emmett) were among the actors who attended the event (sadly RPatz and Kristen Stewart were MIA). Fans also got a rare treat when Jackson Rathbone performed with his band, 100 Monkeys, in addition to other fun interactive events like Bella's Self-Defense Class (porque por supuesto, you have to know how to fend off those evil vampiros!) and Alice's Makeover Room. Pero el evento was really about los fans.

"I get the chance to connect with the fans, which is really great, because they're the ones that made this franchise what it is," dijo Rathbone.

And when Peter Facinelli ran through a sea of adoring fans to deliver some paper airplane autographs, he added "It seemed like a good idea at the time, but I got terrified halfway through. Now I know how Rob Pattinson feels."

Mmm... yeah. But the saddest part of TwiCon was when the actors were asked about losing co-star Rachelle Lefevre (Victoria), who was recently let go from the upcoming 'Eclipse' film due to "scheduling conflicts." La actriz canadiense will be replaced by Bryce Dallas Howard (mejor conocida como Gwen Stacy in the Spider-Man series). While actors Peter Facinelli and Jackson Rathbone declined to comment on the shady circumstances of Rachelle's departure, they did agree they would miss Rachelle and love her como una hermana.  Aww!

Last night Los Angeles' Kodak theater packed in 3,000 dance fans for the finale of Fox's fifth season of So You Think You Can Dance.  After whittling down the final four to the best of the flexible, jumping and spinning --  Brandon Bryant, Kayla Radomski, Jeanine Mason and Evan Kasprzak -- la ganadora was announced.  We were thrilled to see that Latina Jeanine Mason took home el premio SYTYCD -- 250K (where can we find some dance lessons asap?!)

We knew Jeanine, a Cuban-American, had it in the bag when she pulled out a spicy solo this past Wednesday linking her flair for modern dance a sus raíces Latinas.  Jeanine, a Miami native, danced to the sultry "Por Una Cabeza" by The Tango Project.  About her solo, the So You Think You Can Dance contestant said: I'm Latina myself; I love Latin music."

Talking about momentos picantes, there's buzz that Jeanine is dating her SYTYCD co-star Jason Glover.  After sharing a steamy (and unscripted) beso on stage after their modern dance routine, everyone had something to say!

Este otoño ABC is introducing fans to its latest extreme makeover and we're not talking about a new season of Home Edition. We're talking about Ugly Betty.

What does ABC have lined up for La Fea?  An oxymoron!  On the October 9th premiere, a new Betty Suarez will tumble onto grace the screen.  Es verdad, Betty's gettin' a makeover that will take her from busted to bella.  Bid adiós to the poncho for good and say hello to sleek Chanel suits as Betty gets promoted to magazine features editor in the show's fourth season.

For a returning series, a plot twist could be a way to wow fans, but changing Betty's signature socially-awkward estilo could be sitcom suicide.  The new Betty is inching her way towards fabulousity; she still rocks ankle socks but will soon have a metal-free sonrisa.

ABC bigwigs got viewers to weigh in on el gran cambio.   One viewer from a network focus group stated "She looks a lot classier...but she’s still far from perfect.” Looks like that viewer has the cutthroat chops to conduct model casting at Mode, no?

We'll confess, we did see this coming.  Being fans of the original show, Colombian telenovela Betty la fea, we know the story sees Betty from ugly duckling to striking swan.  Pero, will U.S. viewers who tune-in for a good laugh and self esteem boost be turned off by Betty Redux?

Ugly Betty shows us the ugliness of beautiful people, right? Whether it's Wilhelmina undermining Daniel Meade, or Amanda making fun of la gente gorda, the true colors of beautiful bullies are always revealed.  Pero, does that make Betty...a mean girl?

As If! We're getting carried away. Que piensas? Are you going to keep watching Ugly Betty gone pretty, or are you flipping the switch?  Dinos! [Entertainment Weekly]

KC Los Angeles isn't just stylish, it's giving back to la comunidad.  Ten percent of sales proceeds from KC Los Angeles products are given to la fundación Para Los Niños, a family service organization that aims to better the lives of impoverished families in Los Angeles.

Which tee do we feel like wearing hoy?  Nos parece que esta es bastante adecuada, no? Now KC Los Angeles just needs to make a tee that says "Lo Hicimos! Gracias Sonia!"

After a thorough hearing process and week's wait, Sonia Sotomayor has been confirmed for the Supreme Court today. The Bronx-born Latina is the first Hispanic to sit on the Supreme Court, the third female justice in U.S. history and the second-youngest member of the court.

The "Yeas" had it today; the vote to confirm Sotomayor was 68 to 31. Nine republicans cast their vote in favor of the 55-year-old federal judge. The Democrats "continued to praise Sotomayor as a fair and impartial jurist with an extraordinary life story" whereas many Republicans were still convinced that Sotomayor's personal views and ethnic background would cause her to be biased in federal judgements.

Sotomayor's confirmation has already sparked celebration in the Hispanic community (you can hear the piñatas busting open).  About the historic moment, Senator Robert Menendez (D-New Jersey) said "This is America!" The President of the National Council of La Raza, Janet Murguia, also shared en la emoción del día: "I can't think of a bigger milestone for Hispanics in this country."  [CNN, USA Today]

Los sueños really do come true.  From hard knocks in the Bronx to being a leading lady on The Hill?  Nicely played, Sonia!

Wondering where Calle 13's creativity comes from?  Looks like it was there from the very beginning along with una tremenda travesura!

Los hermanos will be spilling their guts on a variety of topics, including their new film Sin Mapa, on Entertainment As A Second Language tonight, but we thought we'd share this exclusive clip that we found particularly entertaining.  Looks like Residente's travesuras started early, as he shares with us un cuento from his childhood en la escuela in which he (literally) copied la tarea de su hermano, el Visitante, cut and paste his name on it, and handed it in as his own.  We're not entirely sure that this shows his "creative" side, pero por lo menos los hermanos have been working together desde el principio.  Go teamwork!

"Queen of All Media" Perez Hilton is known for making some very risky fashion choices, so we were not surprised to see him in this month's People en Español "Los Mejor y Peor Vestidos" issue.  Lo que sí nos sorprende is seeing this post on his blog in which he states "Perezito has been chosen for the "Best Dressed" issue of the new People en Español."  Umm... does he need a better translator or does nuestro favorito chismoso cubano really expect us to believe que no entiende español?

Come on Perezito, de verdad crees que uno de estos crazy get-ups deserves the title of "Mejor Vestido"?  In fact, People en Español says el bloguero "tiene probablemente el gusto más cuestionable de la historia."  Not much of a compliment in our book!

So who did make the best-dressed list?  Topping la lista está la muy elegante primera dama, Michelle Obama, followed by Salma Hayek, Eva Longoria Parker y Thalía.  Tu sabes, some ladies with real style!

We were starting to get suspicious about Penelope's new full-figured red carpet look, caught on camera while promoting Los Abrazos Rotos (Broken Embraces) abroad with director Pedro Almodovar...

First we spotted the signature grab-my-belly mom instinct (it's like the impulse to wear mom jeans, but stronger), and then we peeped another shot of Cruz looking less svelte than usual...

Today, an "unofficial source" reported to blogger Just Jared que la actriz española is indeed pregnant, but we're still waiting on her agent to confirm.  Says the mystery source:

Penelope is about four months pregnant. She's really healthy now and will be a great mother.

Ahora bien, pero donde está el bling? Penelope and Javi are still not engaged, but perhaps Penelope's evolving embryo will send him running to Harry Winston.  About having a family, Penelope told the UK magazine Psychologies:

When I [have babies], I want to do it really well. I want it to be my best project in life. I don’t know if I believe in marriage. I believe in family, love and children.

Until we get the final word, we're taking suggestions for baby names.  Maybe Vicky or Christina if its a girl, or Barcelona if its a boy? [JustJared]
