Now that Johnny Depp has signed on to play Francisco "Pancho" Villa in the upcoming film Seven Friends of Pancho Villa and the Woman with Six Fingers, he can add mastering un acento Mexicano to his resume.  Not up to snuff on your historia?  Pancho Villa was one bad-ass Mexican Revolutionary general who served as governor over the División del Norte (the Northern Mexico state of Chihuahua) in the early 1900's.  Villa, who is best-known for overthrowing the dictatorial government of Victoriano Huerta, remains a national pop culture hero in Mexico today.

If we had to pick one non-Latino actor to play el jefe Mexicano, it would the bad boy of 21 Jump Street.  After all, if Johnny Depp can pull off a flamboyant Caribbean pirate with shades of Mick Jagger or a bloodthirsty barber with a penchant for musical asides, who says he can't fill los zapatos de un revolucionario padrísimo?  Joining Depp onscreen is real-life Mexicana Salma Hayek, which tells us that passion and romance will not be lacking in this flick!

Looks like you might need to keep the Tecate en hielo before celebrating this monumental movie release.  The film's director, Emir Kusturica, tells Blic.com that Seven Friends... will not begin shooting until 2010 or 2011, due to Depp's "already arranged obligations."  Kusturica and Depp have worked together previously on the 1993 film Arizona Dream. Okay, we saw it coming a mile away, pero Christina Milian has por fin admitted that she and rapper/producer The Dream are engaged!

No more hiding that ring finger en los bolsillos!  Christina was flaunting her six-carat Ivanka Trump diamante with pride at a party este fin de semana.  The "Chameleon" cantante announced to Us Magazine that she and The Dream are indeed planning their boda. Christina also made sure to put to rest any rumors that the pareja had already eloped in secret a lá Beyoncé.

About their wedding plans, la cantante Cubana said "We just want to have our closest friends and family there; it's not going to be too big."

Next up for "the Dream" couple? After promoting Christina Milian's upcoming release "Elope," The Dream reveals la pareja will begin concentrating on starting una familia.

I think when you're a female in this business, it's kinda hard to do the natural thing that you want to do. You have to do your work -- then whenever she makes that time for herself -- she'll make that time [to have a baby]. In the next couple of years, there'll be something around.

Not only are Wisin Y Yandel "los lideres" in record sales, pero Los Revolucionarios also know how to use their hard-earned dinero para el bien de otros!

At a press conference in Miami esta semana, los lideres were honored for their extraordinary record-breaking digital record sales for 'La Revolución' (more than 10 millones de copias sold worldwide!), but el dúo dinámico also announced they were partnering with 'Habitat For Humanity' and donating a percentage of their upcoming US Tour earnings to the cause!  Los reggaetoneros sealed the deal with an initial donation of a sweet $25K.

At the press conference, Wisin had this to say about their charitable collaboration:

Habitat for Humanity significa esperanza, familia, comunidad, que es lo que todos necesitamos para ser felices.  A través de nuestra gira estadounidense, estaremos recaudando fondos y construyendo casas y esperamos que ustedes se unan a nosotros en esta causa tan importante.

Yandel added:

La Revolución comienza cuando corremos la voz sobre organizaciones como Habitat, que diariamente benefician a tantas familias Latinas.  Esperamos que nuestros fans también ayuden a recaudar fondos.

Y ahi lo tienes.  Wisin y Yandel may seem like they're living up the reggaeton lifestyle with fiestas, carros, bling y mujeres, pero at the root of it all is a great love for la comunidad hispana. Mucho respeto!

Monday's new episode of Isa TKM proves there's truth to el dicho: "Nice guys finish last."

El lunes on Isa TKM is the final showdown en la campaña para ganar el título de Reina del Liceo entre Cristina y Isa!  The girls both bring their A-game to compete in this prom-esque batalla.  Isa rocks a punky look, donning purple hair streaks and a neon strapless gown.  However, her alt-rock appearance can't compete with Cristina, who orders a sparkling vestido straight from Nueva York to win belle of the ball.

Últimamente, la corona is given to Cristina, whose nasty tricks and schemes to score the coveted crown should earn her nothing but the title of Royal Pain En El Culo. And who does Cristina elect to fill her newly-won court?  Amigas Ruby y Vanesa, her equally-nasty "princesas."

Where did Kim's luscious cejas disappear to?  They're just hidden by makeup.  Says Kardashian about the absentee brows on her blog:

I didn't actually get rid of my eyebrows, haha. Troy used an eyebrow concealing wax to hide them! Pretty creepy, right? I call this my Twilight look!

We just can't get over how many hot artistas are using their fama para una buena causa!

We're used to Juanes lending his star power to multiple causes and organizations, and now cantante Español Alejandro Sanz has once again joined forces con el cantante de "La Camisa Negra" for the latest show in the Paz Sin Fronteras concert series, esta vez en Honduras. The free concert is set to take place on July 26 at la Plaza de la Democracia, in the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa. The duo had previously teamed up for a Paz Sin Fronteras concierto that took place in disputed border territory between Colombia y Venezuela.

With more Latin Grammys between the two megastars than we can count, we're sure the concert will be un evento muy especial! And as an added bonus, Carlos Vives y Ricardo Montaner are also rumored to be taking part in the event. Keep up the good work, guys!

Someone pass the Courvasier and caviar, because Pitbull is livin' at the height of hotel luxury in his new music video for "Hotel Room Service," the track that's burning up the charts (y las playas de Miami) right now.

The "Verano de Amor" star recently spoke about how much she values friendship in her life. Besides becoming close duet friends with Akon for the bilingual remix of the hit song "Beautiful," Dulce has also been romantically linked to her telenovela co-star (and mighty hunk!) Pablo Lyle. She may be pulling a Maite when it comes to denying the relationship, but she is willing to talk about her love for besties.
