What's the one accessory sure to take your wardrobe from mediocre to 'off-the-chain?'
A crunchy new pair of kicks.
For all you footwear junkies and hypebeasts, get ready to elbow your way through the line of locos shoe enthusiasts at your local apparel store. Paul Rodriguez Jr. (the Adrian Grenier-resembling Mexican-American pro skateboarder and X Games gold medalist) is releasing another line of drool-inducing sneakers with Nike, the Zoom Air Paul Rodriguez III SB, available on August 8th.
What makes this shoe different from its SB hermanos? The model rides lower than earlier P-Rod gens and promises to be that much more shock-absorbing. Topping off el nuevo estilo (available in red, black and white) is an embossed P-Rod signature on the shoe's tongue.
To celebrate the shoe release, Nike Skateboarding produced "Today Was A Good Day," a vignette inspired by Ice Cube's 1993 hit "It Was A Good Day." Part music video, part homage to skateboarding and Los Angeles culture, this video is not to miss. Another reason it's a must-see? A rap legend interrupts Paul's fly riding to make a cameo...
NO TE LO PIERDAS: A extended version of the video will be available to watch tomorrow on Nike.com for all of you sneaker freakers.
