Alexis y Fido are finally bringing their perreo steez to live audiences...

Alexis y Fido have officially announced their "Down to Earth" tour beginning in Venezuela on July 5th. The "Sobrenatural" fellas are set to perform at Puerta Ordaz and will land in Caracas for their final show on July 19th. Despues, the "Ojos Que No Ven" singers will continue to make their rounds in South America. We recently spoke to the duo about their addictive sonido:

Yo creo que la gente ya nos tiene en el lado de lo que es la discoteca, de lo que es la acción, de lo que es poner las mujeres a bailar y eso; y pues, en este disco, quisimos dejarle saber a la gente que pa’ eso es que estamos.

There is so much buzz related to Shakira's upcoming album, but we are separating fact from fiction.

If you were double-taking during La Shaki's "Hips Don't Lie" dance craze, entonces stay pendiente for her new uptempo electro single "Loba," which drops at the end of this month. We can bet money that La Colombiana was inspired by the "New Moon" werewolves for that title! Her novio, Antonio De La Rua also revealed that his amor will not be collaborating with the Material Girl. Guess she is leaving that to Britney Spears...

We also hear word that her song produced by Toby Gad is titled, "We'll Never Know." RedOne, Pharrell Williams, Calle 13, and Wyclef Jean are also lacing the pop star's tracks. Her Spanish album will hit stores in the fall, while her English album will drop in early spring. An wild "Twilight" side to Shakira? Bring it on!!!

The 1960s futuristic morning cartoon is about to make a 2010 comeback thanks to Robert Rodriguez.

The "Grindhouse" director may be used to crafting grittier box office hits, but he exclusively confirmed to MTV News that shooting for the live action version of "The Jetsons" will take place next year. Roberto also revealed that he continues to sit on the director's seat for the “Predator” and "Sin City" sequels. Expect him to be as robotic as George Jetson because he is also gearing up for “Machete” ("Grindhouse" spin-off) and working on a thriller titled “Nerverackers.”

Blogamole was on the chisme prowl at Hearst’s Ultimate Prom in Chelsea Piers over the weekend!

Kat Deluna relived her high school days in style by rocking Larissa's violet mini-dress throughout the evening. Despite wearing her favorite pick in the series, Kat won't announce the true winner of the Ultimate Prom showdown until June 12th. We chatted with La Dominicana about her new single "Dance Bailalo," and she exclusively informed us that filming for a Brazilian-themed video is in the works. It better include samba moves!

The "Unstoppable" singer wasn't the only one gracing the red carpet and making the high school students at Fashion Industries run wild. Akon, Gossip Girl's Connor Paolo, 30 Rock's Katrina Bowden, and Ryan Leslie were also at the star-studded celebration.

Pero, our favorite red carpet moment was when the high school students got a chance to shine! Kat Deluna posed with contestants Larissa and Laquasia right before rushing in for her performance. Which prom dress is a fashion hit and miss?

Sour mangoes are falling from our matas...

Word is that Penelope Cruz has been replaced by Scarlett Johansson as the face of the fashion line Mango for their fall and winter 2009–2010 campaign. Penelope and her hermana Monica Cruz have posed for the chic advertisements for over a year. Company executives explain that the decision was made based on Scarlet's "extraordinary personality" (So that's what they call curvas now-a-days!) and contemporary fashion sense.

At least we know Woody Allen isn't the only one who has a thing for the "Vicky Christina Barcelona" co-stars! We personally give Penelope five mangoes for knowing how to rock leopard print. How many should Scarlett get? [Terra]

Juanes continues to fight for mine workers in Colombia.

The Colombian activist called attention to the continued hazardous working conditions in the town of Tumaco, where the most mine causalities seem to take place. Juanes' efforts led to a United States emergency medical mission complete with health aid and military help over the weekend. The "Odio Por Amor" singer also visited victims of the underground industry and performed a benefit concert for the cause.
