Surprise, surprise!

According to Belinda's father Ignacio Peregrín, the Mexican singer is returning to her niña buena ways for the upcoming  telenovela "Camaleones." The controversial star is set to play Angelica, a young woman that has to pretend to be something she's not in order to survive in her society. Doesn't sound too far fetched from the real deal verdad? The drama series produced by Rosy Ocampo will begin filming in Mexico City and Xochitepec later this month and will be released at the same time as her upcoming comeback album.

Word is that Selena Gomez and Taylor Lautner are seriously crushing on each other! The Disney starlet tells her own side of the story to Teen Vogue and reveals that she does want the picture perfect mate without the Hollywood credentials. It's obvious that what she doesn't want is the paparazzi buzz, but we can't blame her one bit.

She states:

I used to say that I wanted someone cute and nice, an actor too, so he'd get it. But now I think it would be good for me to date someone who's not in the business. I want someone honest, someone who's very sweet to my family and friends, and polite to the other people around me.

The funniest gringo on television is about to turn it up a notch...

The White House serves as Jon Stewart's temple of muses on Comdey Central's "The Daily Show," but his playground lies in rewriting modern history books television. The host has recently inked a deal to slap everyone back into social studies mode as the producer of a new History Channel show titled, “The Naturalized.” The upcoming two-hour documentary will film eight undocumented immigrants through the process of becoming a U.S. citizen. We hear the special will also highlight the stories of deported immigrants.

Domestic violence used to be a topic seldom discussed in the headlines...

But several high-profile cases, including Rihanna and Chris Brown's incident in February, has lifted the lid on the boiling topic's reality. Alexis y Fido certainly aren't holding back their thoughts against the personal matter, which affects an average of 2.5 million households a year according to athealth.com. Despite their positive intentions, the "Down to Earth" duo have received criticism for showing the reality of abusive relationships.

We recently spoke to Alexis y Fido about their upcoming single "No Debe Tocarte":

Yo siempre se lo dije a Alexis, quería hacer un tema que hablara de la violencia doméstica, ¿me entiendes?, que lo estamos viendo a diario en las noticias, en Puerto Rico en cualquier país. Muchas mujeres, pues tú sabes, están pasando por cosas en el hogar que yo digo, personalmente, que no deben pasar un hombre, ¿me entiendes?, porque un hombre no debe tratar una mujer así de pegarle o cualquier una violencia verbal también.

It is a creative experiment to transform into mitad hombre y mitad máquina. I had the opportunity to write the guión. The entire obra from the first melody to the last was written by me. I want to give my fans the chance to see me as accessible as a click of a button.
