Are the romance rumors between Jacqueline Bracamontes and William Levy ever going to end?

Not after the rumored photographs of the very-close-amigos kissing in a commercial center in Mexico. We have not witnessed the dirty pics with our own eyes, but it is 100% certain that the two enjoy locking lips for telenovela fans! Without a doubt, Jacqueline decided to clear the air (once again) about following in Maite's affair shady shadow.

The actress states:

Estoy solita, nada de eso es cierto y lo único que pido es que nos respeten y que nos dejen trabajar.

Yeah, advertising that she is single definitely helps the situation! We did manage to catch William running the shopping center with his baby's mother Elizabeth Gutierrez a few weeks ago. Are they on? Are they off? We just can't keep up anymore...

One thing is certain - Jacqueline is not feeling William Levy! That's right (Wink). [People en Español]

Irresistible cocky attitude and smokey lyrics that make you want to get loose like it's prom every sabado...

Only Pitbull delivers this level of straight-up satisfaction. He has been serving up a mouthwatering taste of summer with his latest single “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)," but what else does El Cubano have in store for us? He rescued the mainstream from generic vibes with his lengua afuera attitude in his hit album "El Mariel" and reintroduced us to spring love freestyle for his third LP "The Boatlift." Now it's time for take three, including with a new indie record label. MTV News recently sat down exclusively with Mr. 305 to find out what he has in store for his upcoming album.

Check it and let us know if you want Pitbull as much as we do! [MTV News]

U.S. history has officially taken a prideful turn for all Latinos...

As of this morning, Barack Obama has extended his Supreme Court nomination to appeals court judge, Sonia Sotomayor, the first Latina welcomed to grace the stand in the history of our nation. Although the confirmation is currently pending, we must highlight that the 54-year-old's biography is as impressive as her resume. Born to Puerto Rican parents in the Bronx, NY, Sotomayor was raised by her widowed mother and moved from a set of housing projects to the dorm rooms of Princeton University and later obtained her J.D. from Yale Law School.

Before making today's headlines, Sotomayor worked vigilantly towards expanding her credentials (to say the least). The Boricua has served as a federal judge for the U.S. Court of Appeals since 1998 and worked as a federal judge for the U. S. District Court Southern District of New York for six years. She also ran the gamut as the assistant district attorney for New York County in the 70 and 80s. Not to mention having the drive to work for the private practice law firm Pavia & Harcourt in NYC.

What does her resume say about her? Sotomayor has earned a reputation as a realistic judge who challenges corporate law head first. Embrace this moment mi gente! We leave you with her thoughts on Latinas running the game:

I would hope that a wise Latina woman with the richness of her experiences would more often than not reach a better conclusion than a white male who hasn't lived that life.

Watch the video below for a complete look at her acceptance speech below!

It's good to have friends in high places -- and a hot bod, novio (fiance?) and Oscar-winning carrera!

We caught Penelope Cruz looking stunning on the red carpet at the 62nd Annual Cannes Film Festival.  She and her good friend, el director legendario Pedro Almodovar, shared a few moments together while basking en la atención de sus fans.

Almodovar's new film, Los Abrazos Rotos (Broken Embraces), was one of twenty movies nominated for the coveted Cannes Palme d'Or award.  The winner of the Golden Palm prize will be announced at the end of the festival on May 24th.  Other contenders include Ang Lee's Taking Woodstock and Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds.

The movie, which is steeped in film noir style, stars Penelope Cruz as the glamorous Lena, a former escort who aspires to act.  One of the most intriguing things about esta película are the variety of looks that Penelope trots out, from stylized '50s make-up to Audrey Hepburn-esque updos.

Can the new Footloose give the '80s edition a run for its money?

With one of show biz's hottest guys at the helm, it's definitely possible.

Paramount Pictures has announced that Gossip Girl's Chace Crawford will play Ren McCormack, the starring role that Kevin Bacon danced his way through in 1984.  Crawford contemporary Zac Efron was originally slated for the lead but turned it down, telling EW.com that he didn't want to break out his Sunday shoes for fear that he was becoming the teen musical go-to hombre.  Efron will instead tackle a more somber role as a cemetary caretaker in The Death and Life of Charlie St. Cloud, with 17 Again director Burt Steers, releasing in 2010.

Now that the leading man is locked, which Hollywood honey will play Ariel Moore, the character originally interpreted by Lori Singer?  According to the MTV Movies blog, rumors of Heroes' Hayden Panettiere and musical movie vets Amanda Bynes and Miley Cyrus are abuzz.

The remake will be directed by HSM's Kenny Ortega.
