Well you've had time to digest the story of Pedro Zamora.

Now it's your turn to dish on your thoughts. We saw a range of emotions while premiering the movie - from those who were saddened about not knowing Pedro sooner to others that are using the film as inspiration to take action. MTV Tr3s caught up with some peeps at the FIU screening as well as people involved in the making of the movie to see if it had a similar effect on them. See what actor Justina Machado, executive producer Jonathan Murray and more had to say after the jump....
What were your reactions to the Pedro movie experience?
Justina Machado (Mily): I've never had so much fun making a movie and met so many people I'm proud to now call friends. And to top it off I'm extremely proud of all of our work in this film. I love it.
Jonathan Murray (Executive Producer): I think the film accurately portrays the experience of being on a reality show and specifically the actual experience of the San Francisco Real World cast. I also think the research our writer Dustin Lance Black did on the non-real world part of Pedro’s life was exceptional. Trying to make a film about such an amazing and inspirational a person as Pedro, is a big challenge. I’m very relieved that the film came out so well. It truly was a labor of love for all of us involved in the film.
Yuri Velasquez (FIU Panelist/ HIV Peer Educator): As a Latino gay youth, I related to the movie and its theme. It reminded me that HIV can make a positive difference in your life, family, friends and the lives of people you touch everyday. Pedro showed us (and me) that even though living with HIV is tough in today's society, there's still HOPE... The same hope that kept him going at times of weakness!
Bea (Venezuelan Singer/Songwriter who attended screening): This was the first time I heard about Pedro's story and I was impressed. It was a super emotional movie from start to end. I really think it is a great movie to expose to the Latin community, and just to everybody. Everyone needs to know this message [of safe sex]. They might hear it sometimes but maybe they don't see it as clear as they will with this movie. The producers were great and the actors did an amazing job. I congratulate everyone in the movie. I also want to thank the Zamora family and MTV for sharing this with the world.
Reynaldo Casas (Public Affairs, MTV Tr3s): Pedro was a fighter, an educator and a person of tremendous courage at a time when people living with HIV/AIDS were not treated equally. This movie is his legacy and will ultimately save lives as well.
