Couldn't catch your favorite bandas at this year's South By Southwest live musical marathon?

The music festival SXSW transformed Austin, Texas into the epicenter of indie música and fresh new artistas last week. The five-day event featured a never-ending performance roster that starred up-and-coming Latin rock bands like Hello Seahorse, Bomba Estereo, and Zoe also revived up the masses with help from Kanye West, Metallic, and more. The fiesta was so over-the-top that even Perez Hilton was rocking an advisory jacket while on stage with Kanye.

The Twilight cast headed out to Vancouver to start filming New Moon this week...

But not before making a stop in Beverly Hills. In honor of the Twilight DVD release this past Saturday, Kellan Lutz, Ashley Greene and Rachelle Lefevre came out to sign autographs and celebrate at the shop Kitson. The cast told MTV News some fun games they've created to help get them through these events, including racing to see who can sign the most autographs. Though keeping count lately hasn't been easy since Robert Pattinson and Rachel Lefevre have (GASP) the same signature??

Rachel reveals:

Me and Robert have the same autograph lately, so we can't tell if we've signed something already because it looks the same.

We bet Twilighters can tell the difference verdad?!

Salma Hayek may have revealed her silly side for "30 Rock," but the actress is swapping las risas for a pro-social script...

La Mexicana will be starring in the adaptation of the narcoterrorismo melodrama written by Nobel Prize-winner Gabriel García Márquez. Salma was offered the leading role as Maruja Pachón de Villamizar, a real-life Colombian journalist who was captured by Pablo Escobar's gangsters in the 90s. The film's scriptwriter, Aída Bortnik also revealed that Benecio Del Toro was being considered for a lead part, but a confirmation has not been released just yet.

We can guarantee that this película is going to be as unforgettable as her first Márquez film, "No One Writes to the Colonel." What do you think? [People en Español]

Sorry haters. Daddy Yankee is responsible for more than selling "Talento de Barrio" and his DY cologne...

The Boricua reggaetonero is also saying 'Welcome to Daddy's House' to thousands of chicos in the Dominican Republic. Daddy Yankee recently inaugurated a child care center in El Tamarindo, a barrio outside of la capital which is frequently effected by hurricanes. Through his charity organization "Corazón Guerrero," the institution will help provide food and shelter to underprivileged familias in the area.

El Cangri spent the first day participating in community service by feeding los niños at the center. He says:

República Dominicana es un país que me ha dado muchísimo, pero cuando visito esta tierra siempre hay una necesidad bien grande y muchos niños sin comer que me tocan el corazón.

The "Te Quiero" singer is hooking-up with the soulful princesa Solange for the remix of her first single, "I Decided." Or should we say "Yo Decidí"? Solange will create an all-Spanish version of her track laced with Flex's romantic retro sonidos. Sounds like la chica was inspired by her big hermana Beyonce's version of "If I Were a Boy"/"Si Yo Fuera Un Chico."

"Love Sex Magic" is produced by JT and The Y's, and will be featured in Ciara's upcoming album, "Fantasy Ride" slated to hit stores this spring. Word in mamacita land is that Jessica Alba wants to get knocked-up again! Close friends to La Alba and Cash Warren reveal that they are working on the new family addition. According to a dear snitch, the couple are making sure to give baby Honor a baby brother or sister:

Jessica and Cash are working overtime to get pregnant. She and Cash are boasting that they love being parents and are determined to expand their family as soon as possible.

Telenovelas have just become more tempting than ever before...

The "Me Estas Tentando" reggaetoneros recently made their telenovela acting debut in the new steamy series taking over Mexico and starring La Rebelde Dulce Maria, "Verano de Amor." Don't worry Wisin y Yandel lovers, the redheaded protagonist won't be hooking-up with the fellas. The production team invited the hit makers to guest star as themselves. In the script, Dulce Maria's character Miranda attends a W&Y concert and is 'spontaneously' invited on-stage.
