Wondering what a day in the life of Thalía is like?

The Mexicana may spend her time preparing for her next album and being a full-time mamacita, but the "Ten Paciencia" singer always has tiempo to chill with amistades. Thalía and her husband, Tommy Mottola are set to wine and dine with the king of Spain, Juan Carlos I and his entourage at the Hotel Biltmore in Miami tomorrow. The estrella will also be accompanied by longtime friends, Gloria and Emilio Estéfan and Enrique's father, Julio Iglesias.

The Oscars just may offer los jovenes a reason to tune-in...

According to E!, the secret service for the 81st annual Academy Awards is trying to land a performing star line-up of our favorite estrellas, including Beyonce, Vanessa Hudgens, Zac Efron, and Hugh Jackman among others. The news hasn't been confirmed just yet due to tweeks in scheduling. Spies also reveal that there is no word on which canciones will be adding un poco of vida to the annual event.

Perhaps Vanessa and Zac will perform a tribute to HSM 3? Or maybe B will ride a Cadillac Records track? Quién sabe?! What we really want to know is if Hugh will rock his Wolverine costume on-stage! What do you think? The Oscars air live on Sunday, February 22nd. [E! Online]

Music fans put your hands up because the list of Los Premios Billboard nominations are in...

Without a doubt, Enrique Iglesias conquered the top of la lista with ten total noms for "Hot Latin Song," "Song of the Year," and "Album of the Year" for "95/08" among others. The "Away" singer wasn't the only one racking-up double digit nominations. Flex conquered the game with thirteen nominations, including "Hot Latin Song" for "Te Quiero" and "Top Latin Album of the Year." Sorry haters, "Romantic Style" is here to stay!

Of course, our favorite talented damas also shined on the Billboard charts. Ivy Queen, Jenni Rivera, and Julieta Venegas all received the high honors of being nominated for the "Hot Latin Song of the Year." Jenni and Julieta earned double props for "Top Latin Album of the Year" for "Julieta Venegas: MTV Unplugged" and "Jenni." Sounds like this is going to be a tough call.

The Mexicana jump-starts the festivities in Texas and brings "La Tina" to locations including Florida, New York, and California. The soulful songstress is currently serving-up her melancholic flavor in Europe. If Ximena mirrors her live performances to award nominations then don't expect her to shed any tears.

She reveals:

No, yo no soy mucho de llorar ni cosas, sobre todo por un premio; osea, lloro por otras cosas. Yo creo que los premios son un plus extra que estaba bueno, pero que no es el fin del mundo ni el centro del universo.

Saturday's 'Love Day' was extra especial for Salma Hayek and Francois-Henri Pinault...

The couple finally got hitched during a secret ceremony in Paris. Take that doubtful chismosos! Salma and her billionaire novio were on break-up borderline after they decided to call off their $3.5 million wedding back in July of last year. The hit-makers haven't even taken a pan con mantequilla break since dropping their sophomore album, “Los de Atrás Vienen Conmigo.“ Calle 13 recently fogged-up the camera lens for an electric track, but now they are teaming-up with legendary Panamanian salsa singer, Rubén Blades for the barrio anthem, "La Perla." Word on la calle is that the duo plan on taking time-out of their South American tour to film the video at the histórico ciudad.
