The global activist is set to inaugurate her brand new escuela, Colegio y Centro Comunitario Fundación Pies Descalzos in her hometown of Barranquilla, Colombia tomorrow. The pop goddess helped lace the academic institution with luxurious amenities including a high-tech theater and a plush garden. Shakira's grand event comes just two days after her 32nd cumpleaños. Miley will be tag teaming the stage with country songstress, Taylor Swift. Remember, las chicas were once crushing on Nick and Joe Jonas? Bueno, the Jonas Brothers are also set to rock-out the night. Wouldn't you love to be a "Fly on the Wall" for this especial?

Wondering what Penelope Cruz has in the works next?

The Spanish actress has received endless critical praise for her role in "Vicky Christina Barcelona," including the most recent Goya Award for "Best Supporting Actress." Penelope may play psychotic lover, Maria Elena just like Woody Allen envisioned, but the bella brunette is switching scripts and working on a new musical, "Nine" directed by Rob Marshall. The film weaves together a play within a play, and follows the complex romantic endeavors of director Guido Contini. Cruz is set to play the mistress Carla in the film.

MTV News caught-up with Penelope to find out more about her new role:

Is Britney Spears threatening to put an end to her "Circus" act?

According to a 'reliable TMZ snitch,' the platinum selling pop diva plans on canceling her highly-anticipated U.S. tour if her hijitos, Sean Preston and Jayden James are not allowed to join her. Who is stopping La Britney from keeping the family together? Her ex-husband, Kevin Federline's lawyers. The padres currently share 50/50 custody, but allegedly K-Fed's legal team are worried that hitting the road with los niños would break the original contractual agreement.

Chismosos also reveal that Britney and Kevin decided to skip the lawyers and handle business on their own. Reports state that K-Fed will also have his own apartment in Britney's three main concert venues in New Jersey, New Orleans and Los Angeles. Spears' tour is slated to jump-start March 3rd in New Orleans. No word yet on whether the drama was resolved or not. Do you think Britney is the ringleader in this round? [MTV News]

Who said las damas can't rep their sporty skills?

Adrienne Bailon and the Kardashian hermanas, Khloe and Kourtney were flexing their football skills for 'DIRECTV's 3rd Annual Celebrity Beach Bowl' in Florida over the weekend. An estimated 6,000 bleacher booties checked out the festivities, which included "Gossip Girl" estrellas Blake Lively, and a live performance by LL Cool J. We don't know about 'Mama Said To Knock You Out"...

But these ladies definitely look like they could stir-up touchdown trouble on the field. It may be a wrap for the Cheetah Girls, but we think Adrienne can score her own points sola. What do you think?

Out first love is back...en vivo!

Toby Love is sharing his "Primer Amor" exclusively for the east coast. The Bronx native is launching his 2009 tour on February 6th and will be hitting-up barrios including Connecticut, New York, Florida, and North Carolina. Besides spreading his player swagger with tunes from "The Love is Back," Toby plans on spreading the crunckata movimientos to all the east coast states.

Toby reveals a thing or two about his estilo:

Close, but no cigarro...

Aventura's latest addictive single, "Por Un Segundo" has peeked Billboard's "Hot Latin Songs" charts for the last four weeks, but the bachateros are yet to dominate the number one spot. The heartbreaking track has only reached the seventeenth spot, but the group assures that this won't be "The Last" of their top-charting success.

Henry explains that the band plans on headlining a promotional tour:
