Arcángel (a.k.a. Austin Santos) is on his game...

The New York native finished wrapping-up an east coast promotional tour for his latest album, "El Fenómeno" yesterday. The newbie reggaetonero hit-up New York and Philadelphia among other cities, and took the time out to meet with fans and sign autographed copies of his compilation. We recently got a chance to catch-up with the performer about his 'underground' tour.

He states:

Tuvimos nueve presentaciones en tan solo tres días. Estamos promoviendo mi primer disco llamado El Fenómeno. Contiene 21 temas. Estoy súper contento por la aceptación del público. El disco está número cinco en el Top Latin Álbum ¿no? No tan solo de reggaeton sino que he entrado a competir dentro de otras ramas de la música y bien contento y bien agradecido con papá Dios por el apoyo del público.

We waited con paciencia!

Luis Fonsi finally premieres his latest video featuring Aleks Syntek, David Bisbal, and Noel Schajris, "Aquí Estoy Yo." We dropped a behind-the-scenes teaser clip last week, but we finally get to meet the mystery mujer who has these chicos blasting this melancholic ballad. Telenovela leading lady and "Palabra de Mujer" star, Ludwika Paleta innocently crosses paths with Luis, Aleks, David, and Noel and leaves them in a desperate frenzy. The Grammy Awards used to offer a dry lineup of performers, but not this year...

New performances were announced today, including T.I. and Justin Timberlake. The hip-hop palette is also going to be mixed with a watch-worthy trio performance of "Swagga Like Us" featuring, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, and Kanye West (a.k.a. Martin Louis the King Jr.). Los roqueros are also dominating the mic with modern power players like Radiohead (who are up for five Grammy's) rocking the stage on February 8th.

La loca Katy Perry, 'Viva la Vida' Coldplay, country songstress Carrie Underwood, and Los Jonas Brothers are only a few of the other pop stars hitting the stage. Now we are just wondering dónde están los Latinos????? Hopefully, Wisin y Yandel get added in the upcoming announcements. What other Latino artists do you think should hit the stage? [MTV News]

The dynamic pop duo are back!

Rihanna and David Bisbal surprised fans during a concert in la capital over the weekend. The "Disturbia" and "Todo Por Ustedes” singers performed a live duet of their bilingual summer jam, “Hate That I Love You.” Riri may have been shocked by David's movimientos, but the 15,000 fanáticos in the crowd (and las chavas) were definitely feeling the testosterone.

There is no doubt that Selena Gomez can be anything she wants to be...

The chiquita has already accomplished the fame and television success that most teens dream about, but does Selena plan on leaving the hit show, "Wizards of Waverly Place" to become a lawyer? The actress was seen traveling at LAX airport with an LSAT workbook in Los Angeles on Friday. Perhaps home-schooling has really inspired Selena to pursue a career at regulating la ley.

We are sure her fans will be happy for her...as long as she doesn't quit her brujita role. Verdad?

Pendiente mi gente! Calle 13 is dropping their new video, "Electro Movimiento" mañana!

The Boricua duo are lacing la pantalla with an electric vibe and sinful storyline. Residente plays an 80-year-old viejito with the libido of a quinceañero while Visitante glows in the dark con las mujeres. The new video is a paradise for dirty pensamientos and electro ritmos. MTV Tr3s recently caught-up with the hit-makers about their latest album, "Los de Atrás Vienen Conmigo":

Este disco salió con el poco tiempo. Yo creo que la presión que nos pusimos porque como que nos dijimos ‘este disco va a salir ahora porque tiene que salir ahora’ pues, ayudó a que se hiciera el disco. Así que es un disco espontáneo, un bueno disco, está la presión ahí, que a veces la presión es buena porque te ayuda hacer las cosas.

We are spreadin' el movimiento and sharing a couple of sneak peeks, including Residente in character. He plays a pervert viejito pretty well no?

He isn't the only one. Visitante is definitely blasting into el mundo electro, including back-up chicas.

So we were delighted to hear that MTV News caught up with the head honcho of hobbits last weekend at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Guillermo del Toro, the king of creepy (Pan's Labyrinth, Hellboy II), is back with a new project.  In April 2008 del Toro signed on to direct the next Lord of the Rings installment: The Hobbit, a venture that prompted del Toro to move to New Zealand con su familia for four years.

Que más? Del Toro made a guest appearance at Sundance to support the premiere of Rudo Y Cursi (starring el guapísimo Gael Garcia Bernal).  MTV News' Rough Cut snagged a minute with the director to hear how he will prepare for hobbit world: [MTV News]

In a sea of bright-eyed and bushy-tailed celeb teens, it's hard to stand out.  However, our celeb radar pinged to attention after spotting Zoey 101 star Victoria Justice at the Hotel for Dogs premiere.

Victoria is best known as the spunky roommate of Zoey (Jamie Lynn Spears) at PCA boarding school.  Not only is Justice a real-life actress, but her character Lola aspires to be an Oscar-winning star on the show!

What's next for this breakthrough talent? Justice is working on post-production for The Kings of Appletown (featuring los gemelos de The Suite Life of Zack and Cody) and is in production for otra película, Spectacular!

What were we excited to learn about Justice?  Esta chica is half boricua and it's rumored that she's dating Appletown co-star Josh Hutcherson.

#2: Adriana Lima: The lingerie-clad Brazilian beauty has a strict 'no sex before marriage rule.' Despite her daily duty of skimpering around la playa wearing a tanga and nothing more, this one's keeping her calzones on until her dream guy pops the question.
