The “Aquí Estoy Yo” singer was awarded the “ASCAP Voice of Music Award” yesterday. The ceremony, held for the top artists and composers in la música, will take place at the Ritz Carlton in San Juan, Puerto Rico on March 3rd. Victor Manuelle received the honorable win for the "Voice of the Year" award last year.

Luis Fonsi revealed his love for writing romantic ballads during our exclusive interview:

I actually enjoy romantic songs. Ever since I can remember, I gravitate towards the ballads. I feel more comfortable speaking and singing through them. When it comes down to writing a song…it is easy for me to pick up the guitar and sing a ballad.
