RBD Has A Farewell Message For YOU!

Mi gente, fighting for the "Rebelde" cause wasn't completely in vain! The "Empezar Desde Cero" singers heard your protesting shouts and decided to conquer Los Angeles for a farewell concert on December 5th. RBD has spawned an endless stream of performances in Latin America, but this was the group's official concierto in U.S. territory. MTV News was granted a backstage pass worthy of setting on repeat. Why? RBD delivered a special farewell message just for you! Consider this an early Christmas regalito.

During the concert, my memory was flooded with the million times I heard RBD songs on the radio, in the club or even just with my friends over the course of my adolescent life. It seems like it was all a dream...“It’s a magical night,” exclaimed Anahí.

It was obvious that the band was reaching the end, the show was emotional and the members were constantly hugging each other. Not only that, but all throughout the concert each band member addressed the fans; Chris sang his new single, Christian spoke-out against prop 8, and finally everyone brought out a birthday cake in honor of Dulce Maria's cumpleaños.

We are all going to miss RBD’s energy, songs and positive message. At least we will always have "RBD's Greatest Hits" album to keep us locked in the glory days. Suerte RBD!
