Calle 13 Is NOT Reggaeton!

Boricua music trailblazers Calle 13 have a new album coming out next week...

And the pressure is on to live up to the success of album Residente o Visitante. Even after all the Latin Grammys scored in their short career, the same question keeps appearing about Calle 13: ¿Qué tipo de música es éste?

On the heels of their Tr3spass Tour, MTV Tr3s caught up with the duo to ask them just that. Here is what Visitante had to say to all of the gringos out there in his broken English (qué lindo):

We have music from Jamaica, from Argentina from Dubai.... it's like world music you know.

Stop trying to box Calle into just one genre people! They are not reggaeton and they are bigger than hip hop.
