Don Omar Is Not King Of The Courtroom

We keep rooting for Don Omar but he's making it hard for us to be cheerleaders lately.  El Don does not know when to put a cork in it! He reportedly insulted a police officer during his court proceedings yesterday in Puerto Rico. As the reggaetonero was walking out of the court room he said the officer was:

Uno de los gusanos que quedan dentro del barril de las manzanas podridas.

Even as a crime suspect, the Don es tan poético, no? Maybe that's why he's seen as a "king."  When we asked him about his title, he said:

La gente dicen que soy el rey del reggaeton, yo lo afirmo también. Quizás es ese momento que quieres dejarle claro a todos lo que ya ellos saben y ese momento yo creo que más antes de hablar de mí es un tributo a lo que el rey de reyes ha hecho por mí, todos sus cuidados, todo lo que hemos podido y lo que he podido cambiar en mí todo lo debo a él, pero tiene que ver también con la carrera, con lo que soy, con exponentes del género, con cual de todos ahora demuestra que es el rey del reggaeton.
