Nasty Email Virus Claims Muerte For Shakira And Others...

Warning! Virus-infected emails have hit the mean calles of cyberspace to claim the deaths of Shakira and other estrellas. A group of unidentified shady hackers recently spread the virtual epidemic by forwarding a merciless chisme chain to several media outlets.

Singers Alejandro Fernández and Luis Miguel were also killed-off in the deathly spam game. According to People en Español, the emails include an embedded video and a link to the deceptive stories, which are falsely sourced to the Televisa network.

One email read,

Singer Alejandro Fernández is in critical condition after suffering from a car accident today while on his way to a family reunion.

Rest in peace mi gente; Alejandro, Shakira, and Luismi are alive and well. Now if only we could catch the sinister spammers and send them to hacker prison! [Peopleenespanol.com]
