A-Rod Strikes Out

While Madonna is holding on tightly to her marriage, we can't say the same for drama queen Alex Rodriguez. According to the Associated Press, Cynthia Rodriguez filed papers for divorce this morning in Miami, where the two own an estate.

While rumors about his infidelity with Madonna might be unfounded, A-Rod isn't going to win a premio for Perfect Husband. His wife Cynthia cites "emotional abandonment" and a "long period of infidelity" on the part of Mr. Rodriguez as two reasons driving to divorce.

Guess the Madonna thing was really the last straw for the all-star esposa; she's even accused hubby Alex of being brainwashed by Madge and her Kabbalah ways! [Associated Press]
