It's been three years since the last Black Eyed Peas album dropped, but that hasn't kept its members out of the spotlight. Both Fergie and Will.I.am have had successful solo projects to keep them muy ocupados. Band member Taboo (you know, the guy with the long hair always doing karate dance moves) is following suit by working on his own solo album.
MTV Tr3s caught up with the Mexican-Native American rapper to get a glimpse of what this project might sound like. Will his music be influenced by his Latino roots? Is this the end of the Black Eyed Peas? More importantly, will Taboo continue to dress up in kung fu gear?? Find out what Jaime Luis Gómez had to say here: [MTV News]
While Madonna and Guy Richie are sorting out sus problemas in spiritual counseling, Alex Rodriguez is heating up the drama by firing back about his sticky divorce with ex-mujer Cynthia Rodriguez. According to People, the Bronx Bomber player strongly denied all the infidelity allegations, but admitted that his marriage is "irretrievably broken."
Take notes fellas because Baby Boy is a natural at pimpin' la fama with his lyrical game and humble spirit. The "Ya No Llores / Let me Love You" singer has continued dominating the Billboard charts by occupying the 8th spot for 6 weeks in a row!
The fly newcomer recently spoke about his new found success:
It really depends on how you define fame and how it is used, because at the level of image like television, radio interviews, and all that stuff, it is just work for me. That's what I need to do for the public, not for Baby Boy as an artist.
Perhaps Baby Boy is still considered a rookie in the industry, but his philosophical words are spoken like a true veteran. [MTV Tr3s Radio Noticias]

In reality [the experience] taught me how to manage my emotions, and control myself in any situation, which helped me a lot when it came to the Miss Universe pageant.

We've been given the scoop on everything from scene changes and stunts, to the size of the cast members' feet. We're so grateful for the updates and access to the hot cast, that we wanted to take this time to give a long, overdo GRACIAS to writer and Twilight expert, Larry Carroll, for his loyal coverage.
El problema es... we were way too lazy to produce a proper thank you message. Luckily, some adorning Twilighters were proactive enough to do it first. Therefore, we'll just ride the bandwagon on this one. Check out this awesome video montage of 120 of Larry Carroll's and MTV News' biggest fans showing some love. We're number 121; guess we didn't make the cut. [MTV News You R Here]

Jaslene Gonzalez led a pack of bellos modelos last week during the taping of MTV Tr3s' Fashionista, proving why she was indeed voted America's Next Top Model. Her walk was so serious that her shoe went flying at one point. Talk about fierce!
We know fashion trends can be frustrating for Latinas. You can't always have your tres leches cake and eat it too. We caught up with Jaslene backstage -while ordering one of her many meals- to get some style tips for the average Latina that might not be blessed with the boricua's uber-fast metabolism!
When it comes to style, Latinas have to embrace their curves! I know that sounds funny coming from me, cause I am so flaca but I love our curves. Style comes from being comfortable in your own skin, so you have to embrace who you are and work with what you have. Stop trying to look like someone else! There is no need for that. When you accept yourself and embrace your unique qualities then beauty radiates from within.
Aww que cute! She sounds like an after school special.
Gracias por los consejos, Jaslene. Imagínate -- a model that eats, and stays tan chiquita. La flaca is articulate, too!
Catch more of Jaslene when MTV Tr3s Fashionista airs on August 16th at 2PM EST.
Check out another Jaslene foto exclusive after the jump...
