Exclusive Entrevista: Adrian Alonso of "La Misma Luna"

Child Actor Adrian Alonso stole the spotlight and our hearts when La Misma Luna hit theaters this year. While this movie might have put him on the map, it isn't his first. You may remember the I- wanna-pinch-your-cheeks-you're-so-cute Mexicano from his role in The Legend of Zorro alongside Antonio Banderas. If not, don't worry, he is just getting started. MTV Tr3s caught up with the 14-year-old to discuss his upcoming roles and his budding real-life romance!

How was the reception back home after La Misma Luna came out?
Adrian: It ran for two months in Mexico so I was very happy.

During the filming of LML, what was the most difficult?
A: Only the difficult part was remembering the lines. Everything else was fine but it's good [remembering the lines], I liked that and the actors too.

How did you feel working with Kate del Castillo and Eugenio Derbez?
A: I liked working with Eugenio and Kate. Kate is pretty but I only had two scenes with her. With Eugenio he's a very good actor both with comedy and drama.

Did Eugenio make this role fun since he comes from a comedic background?
A: Yes, he showed me a lot of jokes that I learned from him.

How did you like promoting La Misma Luna in the States?
A:Oh, it was very good. We would go to New York, L.A., San Diego, Miami…It's very good 'cause I also had time to go shopping.

What stores did you shop at?
A: American Eagle, Abercrombie and Fitch, The Gap…and that's it.

Do you have any new projects in the works?
A: Yes, I'm making another movie and I think the name will be Left in L.A. It's a great story for me. It's sort of similar to Home Alone but a lot different. It might be coming out by the end of this year.

And any projects in Mexico?
A: I have three projects lined up in Mexico: Cristeros, Parking Lot and Amor Chiquito.

What do you like to do on your down time?
A: I go out with my girlfriend to the movies (Adrian has been with her for two months), play basketball and soccer. Hang out with my brother and that's about it.
