Guillermo Del Toro Is The 'Mexican Hobbit Master'

El talentoso Latino, Guillermo del Toro, is taking Peter Jackson’s job as the new director for the prequels to The Lord of the Rings. Since the announcement, Jackson has been muttering 'They took our jobs!' and railing against New Zealand’s immigration policy. Hehe, estamos bromeando!

There’s no mala sangre here. Jackson handpicked the Mexican-ite himself to direct The Hobbit and its sequel because Del Toro is all that when it comes to film-making. He'll get cracking on The Hobbit when he’s finished with post-production of Hellboy 2, which hits theaters this July! Finishing up the two “LOTR” prequels will take Del Toro four years to complete.
