'Twilight' Makes Its Comic-Con Debut

The book-turned-movie that’s driving vampire lovers muy locos made its mind-blowing behind-the-scenes appearance at last weekend’s Comic-Con in NYC. For some who may not know (though that’s highly unlikely), the Twilight phenomenon started back in 2005 when author Stephenie Meyer wrote a vampire love story about two high school students, Bella and Edward, who engage in a twisted love-hate relationship fueled by Edward’s thirst for blood. In other words, he’s a vampire who’s in love with a human. The book surpassed the fantasy hype that Harry Potter once created (so long wizards!) and it’s causing Latinos, especially, to get in on the fanatical fun towards the Twilight series.
